As a non-profit association, Lerngesellschaft is tax-exempt in the canton of Basel-Stadt.

No analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and images are hosted locally. GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA) processes technical data such as IP address, time and page requested to deliver the website.

We use your details only to handle your enquiry. Access is limited to the people responsible within the association.

Contact form: Formspree processes your name, email, message and technical data in the USA to deliver messages and protect the service. After you select “Send message”, your enquiry is forwarded to info@lernbus.ch and temporarily stored in a submission archive. Formspree privacy policy.

Email: Processed and stored through Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Corporation), including in the USA.

You can also contact us directly by email or post. Email links and Forscherbühne enquiries open your email application; you send the message yourself.

If you contact Lernbus on WhatsApp, we process your phone number, profile name and the messages and attachments you send us to answer your enquiry and arrange learning support. The responsible members of the Lernbus team can read and reply to this correspondence in our shared inbox. We run the inbox with Chatwoot on our own hardware and use Tailscale for the encrypted connection.

Messages are transmitted through the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by WhatsApp/Meta. Data may also be processed outside Switzerland, including in the USA. The WhatsApp privacy policy also applies. Using WhatsApp is optional; you can contact us by email or post instead. Please agree a suitable channel with us before sending particularly sensitive information about your child. You can request access, correction or deletion of your Lernbus correspondence at info@lernbus.ch.

The calendar checks available times through our booking service hosted by OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. When you reserve a time, your name, email address and phone number, your child’s name and date of birth, their calculated age, the appointment and optional notes are sent to Microsoft Bookings, including for processing in the USA. Our booking service stores technical reservation identifiers and appointment times for up to 90 days after the appointment; unresolved reservations are retained until resolved. Contact details, child details and notes are not permanently stored there. Your entries are temporarily kept in your browser's session storage so that an interrupted reservation can be recovered safely.

Enquiries in our mailbox are deleted once handled. If we work together, correspondence is retained until that engagement ends.
