Data protection, briefly
This website sets no cookies, measures nothing, embeds no third-party services and loads nothing from other servers. The fonts sit on our own server. Anyone who only reads the site leaves us no data we could evaluate.
What the forms do
The Learning Bus and Forscherbühne pages carry enquiry forms. Depending on the form we ask for your name, a way to reach you, the age of the child, when you can be reached, and what your enquiry is about.
These entries are never transmitted to this website and stored nowhere on it. The form merely assembles an email from what you typed and opens it in your own mail programme. Nothing is sent until you send it there, and then it travels like any other email from you to us.
Who gets to see your enquiry
Our mailboxes run on Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Corporation). Your email is processed and held there, and that processing also takes place outside Switzerland, including in the United States. If you would rather avoid that, please write to us by post at the address above.
Enquiries are read only by people in the association who are dealing with them. We pass them on to nobody and use them for nothing other than your enquiry.
How long we keep them
An enquiry stays in our mailbox while we are dealing with it and is deleted afterwards. If the enquiry turns into an ongoing engagement, we keep the correspondence for as long as that engagement lasts.
Hosting
The site is served by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., United States). As with any web server, technical access data arises: IP address, time, page requested. That data is processed by the host; we do not evaluate it and have no access to it.
Your rights
You can ask at any time what data we hold about you and demand its correction or deletion. A line to team@jonashertner.com is enough. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can turn to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
Images and texts
The texts and designs on this website belong to the Lerngesellschaft. If you would like to use any of it, just ask. We almost always say yes.
